If you have been participating in the Indivisible One Million Rising zoom meetings, you know that compelling corporations to stand up to authoritarian rift through boycotts and strikes, when necessary, is an essential pillar of saving this democracy. Economic blackouts are a nonviolent but potent ways to send a message. It’s easy. Don’t buy a single thing (absolute necessities and purchasing from small businesses are exceptions) on August 9th. Send the message to all your networks of colleagues, friends and family.
